Coffee machine cleaning tips

It's best to use filtered water to prevent build up inside your coffee maker and avoid impurities.
Use your group head brush to clean out the portafilter and any showerscreens on your machine.
Clean any coffee build up from the baskets by rinsing and scouring.
Use a chemical cleaning solution regularly to soak portafilter handles.
Empty the drip tray and drain under the tray and rinse with water.
Don't forget your steaming wand... it needs regular attention.
Clean the exterior of your machine with an appropriate surface cleaner.
Descale your equipment regularly, approximately every 6 months or more regularly depending on your local water hardness.
